Form 8:

There are 2 parts in this -

- The solvency statement

- Statement of expenditure & income, statement of accounts

The due date arrives 30 days from the completion of 6 months after a financial year ends.

Form 11:

Form 11 provides the details of an LLP’s partners. The form must be updated each time there is a change in the management of the LLP. The due date for this is 30th May every year.

Tax audit:

LLPs must have their financial records audited once their annual revenue exceeds Rs. 40 lakhs or their contribution exceeds Rs. 25 lakhs. Due to their status as independent legal entities, LLPs are in charge of keeping accurate account books and submitting a yearly return to the MCA each fiscal year.

Return filing:

This makes use of Form ITR 5, filled in online on the income tax website. The deadline for this, if a tax audit is not necessary, is July 31.
